Poke-Kitties

I little sketch I did for Valentines/Pokemon 20th anniversary.

I feel like Meowth and Persian are greatly ignored due to being boxed as Team Rocket mascots and having very sub-par stats. They were only in 2 small patches of grass near Cerulean in the original games that were often skipped. Their only worth was in their unique move Pay Day (which has been obsoleted) and back before they fixed crits (remember 100% crit Slashes?). Anyway I have fond memories of these guys from 20 years ago, even if if was because they were the only cats in Gen 1. And I feel sorry for all the other Poke-kitties too (Skitty, Glameow, Perlion) who have been boxed by poor stats, mean dex-entries and generally "bad/evil" stigma. Someone at Pokemon clearly does not like cats...
